Project Brief
Time: 10 weeks

Goals
The scope of this project was to develop the information architecture, and prototype the GUI and physical to digital interfaces for a materials library for the SCAD Industrial design group.

Research & Synthesis
The project started with research into use scenarios and stakeholders as well as a competitive analysis of existing materials libraries and the taxonomy and tagging systems of libraries.

Using that research as a basis my focus for the rest of the term was on the GUI for a touch table interface which would serve as both a search platform but also a demonstration showpiece for the space. I partnered with another student, Tim Tocci, for this work.
